FAQ's

Questions are welcome here.

Whether you’ve never been to counselling or just want to know how things work in this space, here are answers to the most common questions I hear.

And if something you’re wondering isn’t covered here, feel free to reach out. I’ll do my best to make things clear and comfortable.

I work with individuals (14+), couples, and families across a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety, burnout, and emotional overload
  • Marriage or relationship struggles
  • Premarital alignment and communication
  • Identity, boundaries, and personal growth
  • Grief, transitions, and spiritual confusion

Some clients come with a clear issue. Others just know something feels “off.” Either way, we begin with your story and go from there.

Do I need to be a Christian to see you?

Not at all.

I describe myself as a counsellor who is a Christian—not someone who only works with Christian clients.

Some people want to bring their faith into the counselling space. Others don’t. I welcome both and tailor our work to reflect your values, not mine.

What are sessions like?

Our first few sessions are about building trust and understanding your story. There’s no pressure to talk about anything before you’re ready.

From there, I’ll help you explore patterns, emotions, and experiences that are impacting you—and we’ll work together to make sense of them and find a way forward. Sessions are collaborative, calm, and paced with care.

How much do sessions cost?

My current session fees are:

  • Individuals (60 mins): $130 AUD
  • Couples intake (90 mins): $220 AUD
  • Couples ongoing (60 mins): $140 AUD

I’m not currently covered under Medicare or NDIS. Invoices are sent after each session and paid via bank transfer.

Can I do sessions online?

Yes—online sessions are available and work well for many clients. You can choose to meet from the comfort of home while still receiving the same level of support.

In-person appointments are offered at Seventeen Mile Rocks and Carseldine in Brisbane.

Still have questions?

Reach out anytime—I’m happy to help.

And when you’re ready, we can begin this journey together.
