Adolescent Counseling
Support for teens navigating identity, stress, relationships, and the pressure to figure it all out.
For ages 14 and up—a safe space to be real, ask big questions, and grow with support.
Teens carry more than they let on
It might look like anxiety, outbursts, shutdowns, or social withdrawal.
But underneath? It’s often the pressure to be perfect, the fear of not fitting in, the weight of expectations—or just the overwhelm of growing up in a world that moves too fast.
Counselling gives your teen a space of their own to slow down, speak freely, and learn to make sense of what they’re thinking and feeling.
Some teens want to explore their faith in the process. Others don’t. Either way, this is a supportive, age-appropriate space where their experience is taken seriously—and where they don’t have to perform to be heard.

What You Can Expect
Teen counselling looks a little different for everyone. Sometimes we start with stress or school struggles. Sometimes it’s identity, family dynamics, or faith. Sometimes it’s just, “I don’t know what’s wrong—I just don’t feel like myself.”
In all cases, we go at your teen’s pace. We build trust. And we work on developing emotional insight and tools they can use long after the session ends.
With your teen’s consent, I’ll keep lines of communication open with you as the parent—so you’re part of the support system, not left on the sidelines.
Common issues I help teens navigate include:
- Anxiety and stress
- Identity and self-worth
- Friendship and social struggles
- Family transitions or conflict
- Spiritual confusion or deconstruction
- Grief, loss, or big emotions they can’t name

How I Work
Adolescents need space to explore who they are, not pressure to become someone they’re not.
I work with a calm, relational, and trauma-informed approach—offering teens tools for emotional awareness, healthy decision-making, and self-acceptance.
My role is not to fix them—but to walk alongside them as they learn to trust themselves and feel seen. And for those who want to include faith in their journey, I offer a space where spiritual growth can be explored without judgment.
